For the past year, a few Australian wingsuiters have been trying to fly like they had small canopies open. Meanwhile, canopy pilot Griggsy had been trying to fly his small speed machine from Icarus Canopies (by NZ Aerosports) like it was a wingsuit. Good times were inevitable and this is the end result. You love boogies, I love boogies, we all love boogies. Funny Farm is a skydiving invitational boogie that takes place at Roger Mulckey’s farm in the Australian Outback. He brings in the planes, people and supplies (including heeps of beer) which sets the stage for a very interesting week of jumping and partying. Drink & Dash: BASE Jumpers Ditch Bar Tab From 55th Floor

Well, here’s one way to avoid paying for drinks. This takes “drink and dash” to new heights… from the 55th floor of the Rialto Towers, to be precise. Presumably after watching a James Bond flick, four BASE jumpers wearing business suits pounded back a few pricey cocktails at the swanky Vue de Monde restaurant in Melbourne, Australia, and then jumped from the 55th floor to ditch the tab. Can you really blame them? I would’ve done the same had my 7th martini come back stirred, not shaken.
