Thursday Throwback: Yosemite BASE Jumping In 1980
Probably not the best exits I’ve ever seen, but what can you expect from a bunch of skydivers trying to BASE jump off El Capitan in Yosemite back in 1980. I still don’t think anything beats this other BASE jumping footage with round parachutes back in the day. That’s just bat-shit crazy!! Watch Video »
The "Hang-By-Your-Feet-Off-A-Bridge" BASE Jump
Although accurate and descriptive, the “hang-by-your-feet-off-a-bridge” exit doesn’t quite roll off the tip of your tongue. So let’s just stick with The Idaho Toe-Grabber Gainer (TIT Double G, for short) and call it a day. Watch Video »
Secret Wind Turbine BASE Jump
UPDATE: Unfortunately this video has now been marked “private” by the author since originally posting it on Jan. 31, 2012, . Here’s an awesome antenna BASE jump instead :) Watch Video »
Highlining BASE Stunt
A shot from Sebastien Montaz’s brilliant documentary, I Believe I Can Fly, about BASE jumping and highlining. If you haven’t seen the trailer yet, I highly recommend you check it out here. View Photo »
Piggyback BASE Exit
The pre-exit photo wasn’t too reassuring, but it looks like Lonnie Bissonnette’s piggyback BASE exit went according to plan. As a paraplegic, Lonnie doesn’t let anything get in his way. Have you seen his wheelchair BASE jump at Bride Day? Did I mention his middle name is Badass? You truly are an inspiration to us... View Photo »

2 Girls, 1 Bridge
Usually the old saying, “If all your friends jumped off a bridge, would you do it too?”, is a rhetorical question… unless you’re BASE jumping at Bridge Day, in which case the answer is “hells yeah!” Photo by Andrew Revesz. View Photo »
Old AND Bold BASE Jumper at Bridge Day
Who says there are no old, bold BASE jumpers? With over 400+ BASE jumpers at Bridge Day this year, you’re bound to see it all, including gorilla and bunny costumes, Mr. Bill, TandemBASE, and an 82-year-old BASE jumper — Donald Cripps from Emerald Coast Skydiving in Alabama. Experience Zero Gravity
Following the release of Experience Human Flight, this is the second chapter in the Experience Series from design studio Betty Wants In. Chas Mackinnon from BWI says, “Most skydiving videos are edited with fast cuts and set to up-tempo music… we wanted to explore the other end of the spectrum.” This is, by far, some... Watch Video »
Rollerblades + BASE Jumping = Roller-BASE
So you’ve seen an insane avalanche ski-BASE jump by Matthias Giraud, skydiving in a kayak (aka skyaking) by Miles Daisher, and skydiving with roller skates by Freakfly. But what about roller-BASE… BASE Jumping with rollerblades? That’s a first for me, and I’m lovin’ it! Why didn’t I think of that? Watch Video »
S.A.F.E = Stupid And F**king Extreme
What could possibly go wrong? Anthony White — a newbie to big wall BASE jumping, with a hangover — takes Lonnie Bissonnette — a paraplegic — for a ride on a big wall BASE jump in Norway. Next time, I want to see you do this blindfolded Anthony! Photo via Lonnie Bissonnette. View Photo »

9-Way BASE Jump Off Building
Can you believe 9 guys — all wearing the same outfit — pulled off this BASE jump?! They should’ve just used time-lapse photography instead. This reminds me of The Matrix: Swooping pic I posted last month. Photo via Spirito Gitano. View Photo »
