Featuring aerial footage from the world’s top skydiving cinematographers, Pink Skies is an inspirational documentary about the empowerment of women. It’s about overcoming obstacles as athletes and as human beings. The film covers an extraordinary event, Jump For the Cause. JFTC brought together 181 women from 31 countries who jumped out of 9 planes to create a new all-women’s skydiving formation world record! They also raised nearly $1 million dollars for breast cancer research!

Badass Big Way: How The F*ck Did They Key This?

Okay, so you can see the first key at 1:55. But seriously, regardless of what orientation you fly, this is some impressive flying — a 4-point 106-way formation skdive! Earlier in the event, they also completed a 100-way from 13,500 feet. No additional altitude necessary. Badass belly flying at it’s finest, circa 2001.

New State Record at Skydive Sebastian Invasion

Formation Skydiving: Powerful Women Breaking Records

On this same day last year, the Arizona women’s 27-way formation skydiving state record was set during the Holidays Boogie at Skydive Arizona — 32 years after the 20-way formation skydiving record was set back in 1978. Well, it’s that record-breaking time of year again. They’re having another go at it today to beat last year’s 27-way record. Good luck to all of the women involved in today’s record attempts at Skydive Arizona!

200-Way Record Attempt Over California

Big Way Traffic: 200-Way Exit

A little traffic is expected on big ways, especially when 200 skydivers exiting 9 aircraft attempt to set a new California state formation skydiving record at Skydive Perris. Blue Skies and Water Over Thailand

A 14-way formation skydive at the 2009 Thai Sky Festival in — you guessed it — Thailand. Unfortunately the 2011 Thai Sky Festival was cancelled but will hopefully be back next year. This shot reminds me of a few skydiving pics in paradise, like Luigi Cani flying his wingsuit over Fiji and this 6-way formation skydive at Tahiti Skydive.

Amazing 400-Way Formation Skydiving World Record

This is an old clip from 2006 of the World Team completing the 400-way formation skydiving world record in Thailand. This isn’t like the Mission 100 big way at Parachute Montreal or the Square One 200-Way Sequential at Skydive Arizona. This is a very impressive 400-way… like a game of human Tetris in the sky. This is the Ukranian 60-way big way formation skydiving record set in 2009 at DZ Borodianka. The exit was at 16,000 feet (4,800 meters) and the completed formation was only flying for a few seconds before break-off… but a success!
