While training for the upcoming women’s freefly world record, a new women’s vertical Florida state record was set at Skydive Sebastian during the Invasion 2012. These highlights from Day 3 have it all, but you’ll want to stick around ’til the end to catch the skydiving inflatable whale (have you seen the inflatable pecker yet?), along with the bloopers and carnage… all of which is bound to put a smile on your face.

GoPro Survives 12,500ft Freefall Without Case, Films Landing Too!

We all know GoPro Hero cameras are bomb-proof. Just ask the dude who had a scary head-down premature opening and lost his GoPro from from 10,000ft. But this video takes 1st place in the OMGWTFLMAO department. Not only does his GoPro survive a 12,500ft freefall WITHOUT the case, but it lands on the DZ and films everyone landing. Lol. You can’t make this shit up. GoPro or go home.

I think I remember the commercials… Super Polident? Awesome denture adhesive. Yeah, that’s exactly what this skydiving grandma needed. That, or a tighter smile. Definitely worth the watch, and it’ll give you something to talk about at the water cooler. Silver lining in this one is some brand new pearly whites for Ms. Daisy!

Friday Freakout: Swooper Crashes Into Plane

Unfortunately this swooper thought he was at a swoop comp and mistook the plane for a gate. Admittedly, I was disappointed the gate, err, plane didn’t make the “woop-woop” sound… at least so that he thought he made the gates. This is not recommended. And always remember: bones can heal, but the repairs to a plane will cost many jump tickets. :p
