This video just made my whole day. I had tears in my eyes at the end of it. Still do now. What an incredible thing, life experience, and the story of Marian Barnett saving her pennies to go skydiving at age 90 — one of the countries oldest skydivers. Slim Jim Stratos: The World’s Shortest Freefall

Slim Jim’s not taking the Red Bull Stratos challenge lying down. Well, actually it sort of is, but the brand attempted to counter the Red Bull-sponsored Felix Baumgartner space jump from 128,000 feet with this stunt — the world’s shortest freefall — on Conan. Team Coco billed the event as “four inches of pure excitement.” See if you agree.

Hilarious… Chasing Hamburgers Outta Airplanes

LMAO!! Our very own Melanie Curtis is the star in this hilarious commercial for Jack’s Burgers, where she literally chases hamburgers out of an airplane just to get her fix. Apparently these meat patties are to die for! This was Mel’s first-ever skydiving stunt and acting job, which I think calls for a round of beers (on her, of course, since she’s a superstar now). This is right up there with playing basketball in freefall. Gotta love skydiving commercials! Walk down the hall and out the door for a soccer game in the sky. Pretty ridiculous, but they all are, and that’s why we love ‘em. I mean, what would we do without Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves flying through the sky for 4 minutes in Point Break? Yeah, pretty much all skydiving for the mainstream is so ridiculous, it’s awesome. Enjoy.

Crankworx Mountain Bike Skydive Stunt From 10,000ft

To celebrate their first year of sponsoring the Crankworx Whistler freeride mountain bike festival, Bud Light Canada attempts the most epic mountain bike drop from 10,000 feet with a bag packed full of goodies. If you’re uncomfortable with dozens of topless women, avert your virgin eyes. This is quite possibly the best commercial ever made, or the best formation skydive, or both. And only the Danish could get away with something like this. But I’m not sure how effective Fleggaard’s commercial is from a marketing perspective. Don’t get me wrong, the half-naked women are nice and all, but how many of you really remember the price of the Siemens washing machine? I didn’t think so. Then again, sex does sell. I’ll take 2 please!
