We all make mistakes, and Norwegian BASE jumper Hans Lange is no different. Despite dumping too close to the cliff, striking the cliff, breaking his leg and getting stuck in a tree, Hans was a pretty good sport about the whole thing; even poking fun at himself… “What an imbecile!”

HALO Skydive From 30,000 ft Into Extreme Desert

With a name like “Bear,” he was born to kick ass. In this episode of Discovery Channel’s Man vs. Wild, Bear Grylls attempts his highest skydive – a HALO jump, or High Altitude Low Opening, from 30,000 feet into the Mojave Desert. Oh, and did I mention it’s a cool -45 F at exit. Brrr!
