From 30,000 feet (9,144 meters), Felix soared 22 miles (35 km) across the entire stretch of water between England and France, hitting a top speed of 220 mph. But he has made history: he set the world record as the first person in a jet-powered wing to successfully cross the English Channel, flying 22 miles in under 10 minutes and reaching speeds of 186 mph (299 km/h). Wile E.
