A fixed target strike… in a wingsuit. At speeds of 155 MPH (250 km/h), Polli explodes through precisely placed foam slalom gates as he flies his wingsuit down the steep Swiss slopes. First Wingsuit Flight Off The Highest TV Tower

It turns out 1,200 feet was enough altitude for the first-ever wingsuit BASE jump off the Riga Radio and TV Tower in Latvia — the tallest structure in the European Union. Not only was it enough altitude, but he managed to squeeze 20 seconds of flight time out of this jump. Not bad at all, sir.

As a throwback to the early days of his career, here’s some archive footage of the first cliff he ever ski-BASE jumped off: Mississippi Head, a 250-foot cliff on Mount Hood. Fast forward to 2012, Matthias has done the world’s first ski-BASE jump off the Matterhorn, as well as an insane avalanche ski-BASE jump.
