Alright, so apparently this is the most vertical adventure at the sunniest DZ in Germany. But once you get past the iMovie intro, it’s a solid edit from, well, the sunniest DZ in Germany. Of course. Sunset jumps, tube jumps, freeflying, and what would a skydiving video be without some weird party shots. Daz eez good, ya? Friday Freakout: Trapped Altimeter, Hard One-Handed Landing

Some days things just don’t go your way. This poor skydiver was having one of those bad days. First, the freefly tube was spinning him around like a top. Then, his altimeter gets trapped in his risers on deployment. And finally, he steers one-handed and lands super hard in a ditch. In a situation like this, let go of the damn tube — it’s not worth your life! Live and learn people, live and learn.

Lots of different stuff in this edit… sweet angle flying, swoops through the trees (and cows), proximity flying with high performance parachutes, and tons more. Can’t beat the sit-fly smiles and atmo a-ha’s. Pretty crazy that a skydiving season can include so much. But it can, and this is a great video to showcase such a cool variety.

I’ve never seen CYPRES tubes and the Skydive Expo look this beautiful. And the music makes me think of Zihuatanejo, like in Shawshank Redemption. The truth is, this is a stunning tribute to a company that literally saves skydivers’ lives, and helps us feel even more peace when we fly in skies like these. Beautiful. Thank you, Airtech/CYPRES.
