A fixed target strike… in a wingsuit. At speeds of 155 MPH (250 km/h), Polli explodes through precisely placed foam slalom gates as he flies his wingsuit down the steep Swiss slopes. Experience Human Flight In Super Slow-Mo

A stunning edit in super slow motion from Betty Wants In, an up-and-coming design studio who had the opportunity to work with Fred Fugen and Vince Reffett from Soul Flyers. The five-time world champion skydivers were invited to host a training camp at the Melbourne Skydive Centre earlier this year; the goal was to provide 3D coaching to Australia’s most talented skydivers. For all you video geeks out there, this was shot on a GoPro and produced using Twixtor at 1,000 frames per second (FPS).

Project XRW: World Record in ‘Wingsuit Surfing’

History was made in September 2010 when several new world records were set at Skydive Elsinore. The first-ever “wingsuit surfing” with wingsuit skydivers and parachutists linking up in freefall: check. A group of wingsuits and parachutists flying in close proximity for 60+ seconds: check. Taya Weiss and Jessica Edgeington becoming the first female skydivers to dock both a wingsuit and parachute in flight: check.

It’s pretty cool to watch the sport evolve and see “firsts” in skydiving history. You know what that means… beer for all!
