I’ve never seen CYPRES tubes and the Skydive Expo look this beautiful. And the music makes me think of Zihuatanejo, like in Shawshank Redemption. A Moment In Time

It’s amazing how something that happens so fast, like skydiving or BASE jumping, can create forever lasting memories. And although it’s rare to take a moment in time and slow it down to the same speed at which the mind perceived it when it happened, Ciamac and Jarno Cordia of Fly Like Brick accomplished that effect in this edit. My fave slow-mo edit right now is Experience Human Flight from Betty Wants In.

Following the release of Experience Human Flight, this is the second chapter in the Experience Series from design studio Betty Wants In. Chas Mackinnon from BWI says, “Most skydiving videos are edited with fast cuts and set to up-tempo music… we wanted to explore the other end of the spectrum.” This is, by far, some of the best BASE jumping footage from Norway, Switzerland and France I’ve ever seen. Experience Human Flight In Super Slow-Mo

A stunning edit in super slow motion from Betty Wants In, an up-and-coming design studio who had the opportunity to work with Fred Fugen and Vince Reffett from Soul Flyers. The five-time world champion skydivers were invited to host a training camp at the Melbourne Skydive Centre earlier this year; the goal was to provide 3D coaching to Australia’s most talented skydivers. For all you video geeks out there, this was shot on a GoPro and produced using Twixtor at 1,000 frames per second (FPS).
