New York, New York, New State Head Down Record (2012)

On July 8, 2012, a new 18-way head down State record was set in New York. After only one day of tryouts, they successfully set the new record on the second attempt! Well done and congrats to everyone involved. And a big shout-out to Rob, Tuck and Leland of Team Scarecrow for organizing this new State record.

New State Record at Skydive Sebastian Invasion

Formation Skydiving: Powerful Women Breaking Records

On this same day last year, the Arizona women’s 27-way formation skydiving state record was set during the Holidays Boogie at Skydive Arizona — 32 years after the 20-way formation skydiving record was set back in 1978. Well, it’s that record-breaking time of year again. They’re having another go at it today to beat last year’s 27-way record. Good luck to all of the women involved in today’s record attempts at Skydive Arizona!

200-Way Record Attempt Over California

Big Way Traffic: 200-Way Exit

A little traffic is expected on big ways, especially when 200 skydivers exiting 9 aircraft attempt to set a new California state formation skydiving record at Skydive Perris. Landing must have been interesting; kind of like this big way landing traffic, only twice as many skydivers/canopies. This is just a teaser for tomorrow’s video, so stay tuned.
