This. Is. Incredible! Alexander Polli continues to advance the field of human flight with the first-ever successful wingsuit target strike. Yes, you read that correctly. A fixed target strike… in a wingsuit. At speeds of 155 MPH (250 km/h), Polli explodes through precisely placed foam slalom gates as he flies his wingsuit down the steep Swiss slopes. Forget about “grinding the crack,” he shreds it!

Ted Davenport is a pro freeskier who so happens to like wingsuit BASE jumping in his spare time. Not a bad gig, huh? Well Ted is pushing pretty hard, flying through some of the cracks and waterfalls we’ve all come to love — albeit vicariously through videos by Jokke Sommer, Jeb Corliss, Cedric Dumont et al. Here’s an awesome edit from Ted’s 2012 trip through the Swiss Alps… 46 jumps in 19 days, not to mention a lot of fog and rain along the way.

Couldn’t come much closer to hitting the earth than this. Well, unless you’re Jeb Corliss, who actually does hit the earth. This is a pretty spectacular video through “The Crack” gorge in Switzerland. And some commentary on fear and commitment to the flight from Red Bull’s Cedric Dumont, one of the most experienced wingsuit BASE jumpers around. If this stuff floats your boat, definitely take the 2 minutes.
