Scenic Wingsuit Flight Off Table Mountain

Although not as intense as Jeb Corliss’ bone-crushing wingsuit crash, Tom Erik Heimen took the scenic route in his wingsuit off Table Mountain in Cape Town, South Africa. Table Mountain is a beautiful spot… when you’re not chasing balloons or clipping ledges.

Extreme Sports Week: Wingsuit Proximity Flying by Jokke Sommer

Jokke Sommer and Tom Erik Heimen scout out a new line in Gudvangen, Norway during Extreme Sports Week 2011 — an annual festival more commonly known as “Ekstremsportveko” or “Veko” by the locals. This type of BASE jumping really should be called “wingsuit landscaping” instead of wingsuit proximity flying because I’m pretty sure Jokke clipped a tree or two. The badass Norwegians are at it again. Jokke Sommer took his new Phoenix-Fly Vampire 4 wingsuit out for a spin — along with co-pilot Tom Erik Heimen — for some wingsuit proximity flying in France and Norway. The Cineflex/heli shot at the beginning is pretty sweet too! Congrats on the new Red Bull sponsorship Jokke. You deserve it brother.

Jokke Sommer’s Closest Wingsuit Fly-By Ever!

I’m pretty sure this is Jokke’s closest wingsuit fly-by ever! It’s definitely the most intense fly-by I’ve ever seen. It’s a clip from the new Norwegian TV show about extreme sports called “Oppdrag Sognefjorden” where Jokke Sommer and Tom Erik Heimen buzz the ground from only a few feet away.
