I’m sorry, say what?! You mean we can actually learn to fly like Jetman? Hell YES! It looks like Jetman Yves Rossy is working on an unpowered version of his carbon wing and opening a school to teach people how to fly it. Jetman has earned worldwide recognition for developing and flying a jet-powered wing across major landmarks like the english channel and a section of the grand canyon. Not to mention he has looped and barrel-rolled the powered version and sustained in-flight climbs.

The Wonderkid: 16 Years Old, 260 Jumps, Freefly Ninja

This might just seem like an ordinary freefly jump, unti you realize Mohammed Al Huraiz is only 16 years old and already has 260 jumps. And damn can this kid shred! I sure wish I had 260 jumps when I was 16 years old. Hell, I wish I was flying like this at 260 jumps. This reminds me of the “9 jump wonder” tunnel instructor doing his AFF course (a must-watch!).

Voss Ventus: Vonderful Vindtunnel Video

Voss Ventus competed and won “The Battle of Bottrop 2012,” which was the first tunnel competition of its kind to focus on the new concept of Dynamic Freefly 4-way. A few days prior to the competition, the team got together at Voss Vind — the vvvind tunnel in Voss, Norway — to work on their routine. Andreas Johannessen was asked to document their sessions, and here is the end result. Congrats on the win and the inspiring video!

Red Bull Air Force Flying Stacked Wingsuit Formation

The Red Bull Air Force flying a stacked wingsuit formation, training for the “upcoming” IMAX film, Human Flight 3D. A lot of us have been waiting patiently for this flick to hit the big screen, and it’s been a while since any new information has been released, but Red Bull has issued this statement: “Human Flight 3D the movie will be released spring/summer 2013. A definite date will be announced early 2013.” Fingers crossed. C’mon Red Bull, you sent a man into the Stratosphere… let’s make this happen!

Friday Freakout: AFF Instructor Low Pull + Malfunction

Although this AFF instructor-in-training seems a little nervous, there’s no reason he should’ve dumped this low. Line twists below 2,000 feet are a pain in the ass, but then chopping that low and having to deal with more line twists on your reserve really sucks!
