Freefly skydiving team Elsinore Ignite took bronze in Freefly Open at the 2012 USPA Nationals. Oh, did I mention it was their first year competing (beer fine!) in the Open class? Well done and well deserved. Congrats to Damien Germano, Shane McLafferty, and Lelo Mras on video. Keep kicking ass guys!

President Barack Obama and Governor Mitt Romney change things up and flip the 2012 U.S. Presidential Debate on its head. Literally. The candidates yell and point fingers at each other while flying head down from 12,000 feet. The USPA coordinated this timely stunt in honor of competition at the 2012 USPA National Skydiving Championships, Oct. 25 – Nov. 3 at Skydive Arizona. Without going into a rant or bursting all of the blood vessels in your left eye, who do you feel won this skydiving debate?

Swooping With Style: 2012 USPA Canopy Piloting Nationals

The best swoopers from across the country gathered at the 2012 USPA Canopy Piloting Nationals — hosted at Skydive The Farm — in search of the title of National Champion of Canopy Piloting. With a new host, new competitors, and new rules, a new champion was crowned. Curt Bartholomew took first place, followed by Nicholas Batsch and Thomas Dellibac on the podium, respectively. Congrats to everyone on a job well done. We’re all looking forward to next year!

Golden Knights at USPA Skydiving Nationals 2010

Professional skydiving videographer and photographer, Juan Mayer, put together this short edit of the Golden Knights competing in the 2010 USPA Skydiving Nationals at Skydive Chicago. Very similar to what the Red Devils Freefall Team is to the British Army, the Golden Knights are the official demonstration and competition parachute team of the United States Army.
