Well good on you for getting put back together and continuing to live life as it’s meant to be lived! Most people would’ve give up after going what you went through. Really cool that you got your daughter in the air too. Blue skies Brian.

Found a down draft just before landing, and lost my lift. had a nice cruising speed going, figure I hit doing 75km plus. Crushed right foot ( as it was under me ) shattered pelvis, cracked all ribs, sheared 2 vertebrae out of the spine, snapped the tailbone off, punctured both lungs, put a cut in my liver, tore muscles off the back of my legs and I bit my tongue :-) 14 1/2 hrs to put me back together, woke up from that with them saying ” you’ll probably never walk again” Proved them wrong :-) Couple little side effects left over at this time but nothing that anyone can see. Some nerve damage, lack of sensation. They say it may come back, slow repair process. But I’m doing everything I can to make things better as well as still livin life! My 1st jump back I took my daughter up for her 1st solo jump and my wife was there too videoing. We were all in the air together flying. :-) it was awesome.
I’m also a whitewater kayaker, kayak surfer, sailer (HobieCat) , scubdiver, hiker, downhill skier and whatever else presents it self :-) Have done all these since and will carry on doing them. I work out 3 to 4 times a week and work full time.

Wow, 10 months of recovery is rough, but glad to hear you’re in one piece now. If you don’t mind me asking, what exactly happened to you?

Ouch Jeb!! Nice that you’re still here, been in the boat you’re playing with now. They put me back together 2 years ago. Took me 10 months to get back in the air :-) Rock ON !! Life was made for livin it up!!
